- Deep understanding of firmware/driver interaction with hardware.
- Knowledge of PVT dependencies, binning methodologies, and VF characterization.
- Experience in performance and power management including DVFS and power gating.
- Hands-on validation skills with oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and lab debugging.
- Understanding of fault models, DPPM, quality metrics, and RAS is a plus.
- Established proficiency in collaborative, multi-functional environments.
Responsibilities
- Design workarounds and solutions through lab experimentation.
- Develop, prototype, and validate system-level features on existing and new silicon.
- Lead system design in partnership with architecture, software, chip/board designers, ASIC, and operations teams.
- Lead hardware-side debug efforts to root cause feature bugs and silicon defects.
- Develop advanced debug tools and infrastructure to meet aggressive schedules.
- Collaborate with manufacturing and customer teams to resolve production issues.
Benefits
- Employees at NVIDIA are often offered comprehensive, day-one benefits—including medical, dental, and vision coverage with HSA support, life and disability insurance, an Employee Assistance Program, and a 401(k) with auto-enrollment. Many roles also have generous time off and holidays, donation matching (up to $10,000), and a wide menu of extras like FSAs, commuter benefits, legal and identity-theft protection, pet insurance, and wellness discounts.
