·FY 2025Job description
The role is for a self-motivated senior engineer on NVIDIA's Aerial Omniverse Digital Twin team, focusing on the design and implementation of a real-time signal-processing subsystem. This position involves working on foundational technology for 5G and 6G network simulation, utilizing NVIDIA's advanced compute and interconnect platforms. The engineer will be responsible for developing GPU kernels and ensuring synchronization across multiple GPUs. The role requires a strong background in high-performance computing and signal processing.
Requirements
- PhD in high-performance computing, computer architecture, signal processing, or wireless communications or equivalent experience.
- 12+ years of proven experience in relevant fields.
- Proficiency in CUDA kernel design with a focus on memory hierarchy and real-time deadlines.
- Demonstrated ability to manage data flows across multi-device GPU systems with bandwidth and latency accounting.
- Working knowledge of OFDM signal processing and the 5G NR physical layer.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement GPU kernels for applying multi-antenna channels to OFDM signals.
- Architect the inter-cell data-flow layer to manage information compression and transport.
- Collaborate with propagation engine and RAN stack teams to ensure end-to-end simulation pipeline synchronization.
- Assess design and implementation trade-offs between physical fidelity, latency, and system scalability.
Benefits
- Employees at NVIDIA are often offered comprehensive, day-one benefits—including medical, dental, and vision coverage with HSA support, life and disability insurance, an Employee Assistance Program, and a 401(k) with auto-enrollment. Many roles also have generous time off and holidays, donation matching (up to $10,000), and a wide menu of extras like FSAs, commuter benefits, legal and identity-theft protection, pet insurance, and wellness discounts. Optional programs can include student-loan and home-purchase support, plus family care resources and expert medical services.
