NVIDIA is seeking a Senior Design Engineer for its Coherent High Speed Interconnect team, focusing on the architecture and design of high-speed coherent interconnects for mobile SoCs and GPUs. The role involves collaboration with architects, software engineers, and circuit designers to create innovative interconnect solutions. • BS or equivalent experience in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related degree is required, with advanced degrees being a plus.
• 8+ years of relevant design experience is necessary.
• Knowledge of industry standard interconnect protocols like PCIE, CXL, AXI, and CHI is useful.
• Understanding or experience with link layer stacks including data link layer and physical layer is required.
• Experience with physical layer interconnects such as Memory (DDR, LPDDR), PCIE, and SerDes is essential.
• Strong working knowledge of Verilog or System Verilog is required.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills are necessary, with a history of mentoring junior engineers being a significant plus.
