Job description
The role is for a software engineer specializing in compiler technology and networking protocols within NVIDIA's Compiler team. This team is focused on advancing programmable networks for data center scale deployments of NVIDIA Data Processing Units (DPUs). The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between hardware and software, advocating for programmability and optimizations. Requirements
- BS/MS in Computer Science or Computer Engineering, with a PhD strongly preferred.
- 5+ years of relevant work or research experience in performance analysis, compiler optimizations, and code generation.
- Knowledge of network programming, network protocols, and layers.
- Excellent C/C++ and Python programming abilities, along with software design skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a dynamic product-oriented team.
Responsibilities
- Leverage a deep understanding of compiler technologies to implement static and runtime optimizations.
- Develop proof-of-concept implementations of networking applications and guide their incorporation into company products.
- Contribute as a team player to build advanced compilers and optimizations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure a cohesive technology strategy.
- Stay up to date with the latest developments in compiler technology, networking protocols, and hardware design.
