Job description

The Senior Formal Verification Engineer for GPU Kernels will focus on developing and delivering verification tools for performance-critical GPU kernels. This role is part of NVIDIA's Deep Learning Safety Team, which aims to ensure the correct behavior of GPU kernels in various environments, including safety-critical systems. The engineer will work on integrating AI into formal verification workflows and contribute to the intersection of AI and formal methods. This position offers the opportunity to impact NVIDIA's software projects significantly.

Requirements

  • MS or PhD in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience.
  • 6+ years of relevant work experience.
  • Experience with formal methods such as symbolic execution, SMT solving, interactive theorem proving, or model checking.
  • Strong programming skills in C/C++ or Rust, along with experience in SCM (e.g., Git) and build systems (e.g., Make, CMake).
  • The ability to work independently, define project goals and scope, and lead your own development effort.
