Job description
NVIDIA is hiring a System Software Engineer to join its System Software group, focusing on Data Center Server Platform Diagnostics. The role involves working with a team that develops software for complex computing systems used in AI, HPC, and accelerated computing workloads. The engineer will design diagnostic middleware and applications for NVIDIA SOC and GPU hardware, while collaborating with various internal teams. This position offers an opportunity to work on innovative technology in a rapidly growing engineering environment.
Requirements
- BS/MS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
- 2+ years of experience in software engineering.
- Strong C/C++ programming skills and object-oriented programming skills.
- Experience with low level or driver level programming.
- Understanding of processor architecture fundamentals, preferably ARM.
- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and planning skills.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop diagnostic middleware and applications for NVIDIA SOC and GPU hardware.
- Architect and drive new diagnostic software solutions for all phases of the product life cycle.
- Participate in overall system software architecture and collaborate with internal software teams.
- Work closely with ASIC and NPI teams to plan and implement new product requirements.
- Research and evaluate industrial technical standards and drive implementations as needed.
