NVIDIA is seeking a Principal Engineer to develop core agentic identity capabilities for AI agents within the company's internal ecosystem. This hands-on engineering role focuses on creating secure identity features that support non-human workflows across various environments. The successful candidate will work closely with multiple teams to align architecture with operational needs and contribute to the overall security infrastructure. The position requires a blend of technical leadership and innovative problem-solving skills.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- 15+ years of experience in software engineering, security engineering, identity, or distributed systems.
- Proven ability to frame complex problems and evolve ideas into reliable production systems.
- Strong software engineering skills in backend services, APIs, and automation.
- Experience in offensive security and adversarial thinking.
- Hands-on experience with container technologies and cloud service providers.
- Good understanding of identity and access concepts such as OAuth 2.0 and SCIM.
Responsibilities
- Architect and build agent identity security features for various environments.
- Rapidly prototype and validate innovative solutions for security and identity problems.
- Build reusable skills, CLI tools, APIs, and integration patterns for internal teams.
- Collaborate with teams across Enterprise Security and relevant platforms.
- Contribute to architectural direction and engineering standards for agentic identity.
- Evaluate emerging standards and technologies in agentic identity.
