Job description

The Senior Circuit Design Engineer will join NVIDIA's Power Circuits Solutions Group, focusing on enhancing power delivery in designs. This role requires collaboration with System/Software Architects and engineers to tackle complex challenges in integrated power delivery solutions. The engineer will break down Systems-on-package into manageable electrical models and investigate innovative solutions for energy efficiency. The position emphasizes a blend of theoretical knowledge and practical experience in circuit design.

Requirements

  • MSEE/MSCE or equivalent experience, preferably a PhD.
  • 8+ years of equivalent experience in circuit design.
  • Strong background in analog and mixed signal circuit design.
  • Deep system-level understanding of power delivery solutions for SoCs.
  • Experience with architecture and implementation of protection schemes.
  • Proficiency in Matlab/Simulink and industry-standard silicon EDA tools.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with System/Software Architects and engineers to address product challenges.
  • Break down complex Systems-on-package into simpler electrical models.
  • Translate electrical models into voltage regulator features and specifications.
  • Investigate innovative solutions for packaging, interconnect, and thermal challenges.
  • Provide energy solutions for future products.
