Job description

NVIDIA is looking for ASIC Verification Engineers to verify advanced GPUs, focusing on unit level verification of process scheduling and system interface hardware. The role involves collaboration with various teams including software, architecture, and design, contributing to cutting-edge applications such as consumer graphics and artificial intelligence. The team aims to push the boundaries of computing and establish future verification methodologies. Candidates will engage in a dynamic environment that fosters innovation and teamwork.

Requirements

  • BS or MS in electrical engineering, computer engineering, or a similar area, or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of verification experience.
  • Exposure to computer architecture, ASIC design, and verification methodology.
  • Strong ability with SystemVerilog, test planning, coverage closure, and test bench design.
  • Understanding of object-oriented programming concepts.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Ability and desire to work as a great teammate.
  • Good debugging and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

  • Work on a unit level testbench, focusing on directed and random tests and test infrastructure.
  • Partner closely with RTL and architecture teams to refine microarchitecture plans for verifiability.
  • Architect and plan the verification strategy and execution for sub-system features impacting the unit.
  • Support post-silicon validation activities.
  • Utilize cutting-edge AI to enhance testbench development, task automation, debugging, and problem-solving.

Benefits

  • Employees at NVIDIA are often offered comprehensive, day-one benefits—including medical, dental, and vision coverage with HSA support, life and disability insurance, an Employee Assistance Program, and a 401(k) with auto-enrollment. Many roles also have generous time off and holidays, donation matching (up to $10,000), and a wide menu of extras like FSAs, commuter benefits, legal and identity-theft protection, pet insurance, and wellness discounts. Optional programs can include student-loan and home-purchase support, plus family care resources and expert medical services.
