NVIDIA is seeking a skilled professional to join their VLSI team, focusing on front-end design implementation methodologies and flow automation. The role involves collaborating with logic and physical designers, as well as EDA vendors, to tackle implementation challenges and enhance design efficiency. Candidates will leverage their expertise in EDA tools to optimize power, performance, and area for critical designs. Requirements
- BS or MS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related fields or equivalent experience.
- 8+ years of experience in logic design implementation and/or physical design implementation.
- Deep understanding of logic optimization techniques and relative area, timing, and power trade-offs.
- Strong understanding of physical design implementation including physical synthesis, placement, routing, and logic restructuring.
- Proficiency in synthesis and/or place and route EDA tools from Synopsys and Cadence.
- Good debugging and problem-solving skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a dynamic team.
Responsibilities
- Be responsible for all aspects of front-end design implementation methodologies.
- Use NVIDIA implementation flows and EDA tool expertise to improve power, performance, and area on critical designs.
- Collaborate with logic designers, physical designers, and EDA vendors to solve implementation issues.
- Provide support for EDA tools and flows.
