Job description

NVIDIA is seeking a Manager of Software Performance within the Autonomous Vehicles organization. This role focuses on driving the strategic scaling of performance engineering efforts across NVIDIA DRIVE Autonomous Solutions products. The manager will lead a team of Performance Engineers and work collaboratively with various teams to ensure high-quality autonomous driving experiences. The position emphasizes the importance of communication and collaboration across multiple functions and customer programs.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of recent Software Engineering experience in planning and executing software engineering projects.
  • At least 4 years of experience in Software team management.
  • BS or MS degree in Computer Science or a related field, or relevant experience.
  • Experience leading successful releases with short release cadence in a dynamic environment.
  • Proven ability to understand and collaborate across complex technical software stacks.

Responsibilities

  • Define and maintain the strategic execution roadmap for performance engineering.
  • Lead and mentor a team of Performance Engineers in day-to-day execution.
  • Improve performance engineering workflows and processes to foster a performance culture.
  • Partner proactively with OEM customers and technical teams to establish a cohesive architecture.
  • Provide regular communication of program status, risks, and key issues to leadership.
