Job description

NVIDIA is seeking a Senior Data Analysis Engineer for its autonomous driving team, focusing on critical metrics and data analysis. This role involves collaborating with product and engineering teams to assess product performance and improve driving policy models. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills in data analysis and scripting, as well as leadership abilities to guide the engineering team. This position is crucial for supporting agile software development and delivering high-quality autonomous vehicle software.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, AI, or related fields
  • 8+ years of proven experience in ADAS/AD vehicle testing, data analysis, and handling large datasets from customer cars
  • Proficiency in Python and a deep understanding of software engineering practices
  • Strong problem-solving skills and accountability
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills

Responsibilities

  • Work with product and engineering teams to define AD product performance and make triage plans
  • Supervise and categorize test events from scaling tests and present critical metric trends
  • Collaborate with multi-functional teams to define data analysis requirements and improve triage efficiency
  • Enhance driving policy product performance using data quantity, quality, and diversity
  • Automate critical metric generation and provide insights to support product/software priorities
