Job description

The Autonomous Vehicles Platform Team at NVIDIA is seeking Senior Software Engineers and Architects to develop and enhance NVIDIA's automotive platform. This role focuses on creating innovative solutions for self-driving cars and integrating various vehicle subsystems into the autonomous driving DRIVE SW platform. Candidates will work in a dynamic environment that emphasizes collaboration and cutting-edge technology. Requirements

  • BS or MS degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a relevant field.
  • 5+ years of relevant experience in software design and development.
  • Excellent communication and organization skills.
  • Strong programming skills in C/C++/Python.
  • Experience with embedded systems involving Linux/RTOS.
  • Strong debugging skills from application to kernel level.

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop next-generation autonomous vehicle hardware platforms and sensors.
  • Collaborate with software, hardware, and systems engineering teams to support new hardware integration.
  • Engage with customer teams to customize and productize DRIVE platforms.
  • Drive the reliability of the software platform, including RADAR, LiDAR, and Camera sensor processing.
  • Analyze complex technical issues across software and hardware domains and drive resolution.
  • Work in an environment involving Hypervisor, Linux, and QNX RTOS.
