Job description

NVIDIA is seeking a Senior Mask Layout Design Engineer to join a dynamic team focused on high-speed mixed-signal circuit designs. The role involves working with diverse individuals to perform physical layout for mixed-signal functions in advanced CMOS technologies. The engineer will collaborate with ASIC and mixed-signal engineers to ensure successful integration in VLSI products. Requirements

  • A BSEE degree or equivalent experience is required.
  • A minimum of 12 years of validated experience in Mask and Layout Design is necessary.
  • A deep understanding of analog circuit layout concepts in submicron CMOS technologies is essential.
  • Proficiency with Cadence custom circuit design tools, particularly Virtuoso, is required.
  • Experience with verification tools such as Dracula, Hercules, Calibre, and Primeyield is needed.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages like Perl, Python, and Skill is expected.
  • Knowledge of DRC and LVS checking flows and the ability to customize decks is important.

Responsibilities

  • Perform physical layout for mixed-signal functions like PLL's, high speed SerDes, and Analog to Digital converters.
  • Collaborate with ASIC and mixed-signal engineers to customize designs for integration in VLSI products.
  • Participate in floor planning, custom layout, and verification against design rules and schematics.
