NVIDIA is seeking a Senior HPC Architect to support the deployment and bring-up of large-scale GPU compute clusters. This role involves working with cutting-edge accelerated computing and deep learning technologies while collaborating with scientific researchers and developers. The architect will provide engineering solutions to operationalize GPU computing products and ensure effective system administration. The position requires strong teamwork and communication skills to drive innovative projects in a dynamic environment.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in accelerated computing for datacenter or HPC-based enterprise computing solutions.
  • Solid understanding of accelerated computing scheduling and I/O stacks.
  • Proficiency in C/C++, Python, and Bash programming or scripting.
  • Experience working with the engineering or academic research community in high performance computing or deep learning.
  • Familiarity with parallel filesystems.
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to multitask effectively in a dynamic environment.
  • Action-driven with strong analytical skills.
  • Desire to be involved in multiple diverse and innovative projects.
  • BS or equivalent experience in Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or Computer Science; MS or PhD is desirable.

Responsibilities

  • Provide engineering solutions to operationalize the latest GPU computing products and software stacks.
  • Ensure technical relationships with internal and external engineering teams.
  • Assist systems and machine learning/deep learning engineers in building creative solutions based on NVIDIA technology.
  • Serve as an internal reference for system administration and at-scale system analysis.
  • Architect, develop, and bring up large scale performance platforms.

Benefits

  • Employees at NVIDIA are often offered comprehensive, day-one benefits—including medical, dental, and vision coverage with HSA support, life and disability insurance, an Employee Assistance Program, and a 401(k) with auto-enrollment. Many roles also have generous time off and holidays, donation matching (up to $10,000), and a wide menu of extras like FSAs, commuter benefits, legal and identity-theft protection, pet insurance, and wellness discounts. Optional programs can include student-loan and home-purchase support, plus family care resources and expert medical services.
