This role involves designing and developing custom digital circuits for CPUs at Intel. The team focuses on creating innovative technology that enhances digital lives. The position requires a strong background in electrical or computer engineering and experience in circuit design.

• Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related STEM field with 4+ years of relevant experience, or a PhD with 2+ years of relevant experience.
• 2+ years of experience in complementary MOS (CMOS) circuit design.
• Experience in digital logic and optimization.
• Knowledge of circuit design trade-offs for power, performance, and area.
• Familiarity with very large-scale integration (VLSI) and low power implementation techniques.
• Experience in memory design.

• Design, develop, and build custom digital circuits for a CPU, including memory and caches.
• Perform circuit design, schematic entry, and simulation for CPU blocks while verifying functionality.
• Create block level DFT models and develop memory test tools.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to report design progress and resolve performance issues.
• Optimize performance, power, and area of CPU circuits while reducing leakage.
• Work with CPU architecture and layout teams to ensure robust circuit design.
