Morgan Stanley is seeking an Associate Cybersecurity Engineer in New York, NY, to enhance the firm's cybersecurity metrics and reporting. Requirements
- Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Information Technology, or a related field of study.
- Requires two years of experience in the position offered or two years as a Cybersecurity Analyst, Cyber Risk Analyst, or a closely related occupation.
- Requires two years of experience with Decision Science and Statistics.
- Requires two years of experience in creating new cybersecurity metrics measuring effectiveness and coverage of a cybersecurity defense program.
- Requires two years of experience with Python and Prefect.
- Requires familiarity with cybersecurity frameworks including CRI Profile, MITRE ATT&CK Framework, and cyber pathways.
- Requires experience collaborating with senior leadership and maintaining stakeholder relationships.
- Requires proficiency with tools including Splunk, Elastic, and Jira.
- Requires experience with data visualization tools including PowerBI.
- Requires skills in writing reports and presenting findings.
Responsibilities
- Create, monitor, and report key cybersecurity performance indicators and metrics.
- Leverage industry standards and frameworks to create a comprehensive set of cyber metrics.
- Prepare comprehensive reports on cybersecurity metrics tailored for executive-level review.
- Use Decision Science and Statistics methods to measure the cyber defense posture of the enterprise.
- Create accurate and actionable insights to reduce risk for the enterprise.
