Job description

As a Process Integration and Yield Engineer at Intel, you will be instrumental in enhancing manufacturing processes and improving yield in both startup and high-volume production settings. This role involves collaborating with various stakeholders to drive technology transfers and implement continuous improvement initiatives. You will leverage advanced data analysis techniques to influence technical directions and ensure the delivery of industry-leading products. Your expertise will contribute to Intel's commitment to innovation and manufacturing excellence.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of experience with a Bachelor's degree, 4+ years with a Master's degree, or 2+ years with a PhD in chemical engineering, electrical engineering, computer science, physics, chemistry, or a relevant STEM degree.
  • Experience in data mining and statistical analysis.
  • Experience in manufacturing process change, process characterization, and process integration.
  • Experience with failure analysis, yield analysis, and process improvement methodologies.

Responsibilities

  • Drive low yield analysis and yield improvement activities, collaborating with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Define roadmaps to meet requirements, goals, and milestones for incoming technology transfers.
  • Design and implement continuous improvement initiatives to prevent quality, line yield, and sort yield excursions.
  • Develop and establish flow, procedures, and equipment configurations for process modules.
  • Extract insights from both structured and unstructured data using statistical methods.
  • Conduct quality and reliability risk assessments for discrepant manufacturing materials and process changes.
  • Lead quality and integrated defect and parametric measurement in startup and high-volume manufacturing environments.
  • Serve as a domain expert, influencing technical direction across Intel and the industry while mentoring others.
  • Formulate and align organizational goals with technical vision, driving the execution of strategies to bring innovative products and technologies to market.
