Morgan Stanley is seeking a Director, Lead Data & Analytics Engineer in Alpharetta, GA, to architect and develop scalable distributed platform systems. This role involves providing technical expertise and recommendations for new software projects and initiatives. The engineer will write code, conduct code reviews, and contribute to application architecture and design throughout the software development life cycle. Requirements
- Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field of study.
- Requires five (5) years of experience in the position offered or five (5) years as a Software Developer, Technology Lead, I.T. Analyst, or a closely related occupation.
- Requires five (5) years of experience with software design and development on Linux and Windows platforms.
- Requires five (5) years of experience developing software using C++, Python, Perl, and SQL.
- Requires five (5) years of experience with relational databases including Sybase, Oracle, DB2, or PostgreSQL.
- Requires five (5) years of experience developing and deploying micro services using CI/CD pipelines and tools.
- Requires five (5) years of experience with containerization tools including Docker or Podman.
- Requires five (5) years of experience designing high-performance and scalable transaction processing systems.
- Requires two (2) years of experience with Go-Lang.
Responsibilities
