Job description

Morgan Stanley is seeking an Associate Software Engineer to join their software development team in New York. The role involves participating in all aspects of the software development cycle, focusing on both front-end and back-end application development. The engineer will work on creating and maintaining software applications that enhance workflow efficiency while utilizing client and manager feedback for improvements. This position allows for telecommuting up to two days per week.

Requirements

  • Requires a Bachelor’s in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Requires two years of experience in the position offered or as an Application Developer, Technology Analyst, or a related role.
  • Requires two years of experience with functional programming languages including Java.
  • Requires two years of experience developing Spring Boot based applications.
  • Requires two years of experience with shell scripting languages.
  • Requires two years of experience with testing frameworks including Junit and Mockito.
  • Requires two years of experience with Git Repository.
  • Requires two years of experience with DB2 and SQL programming language.
