Job description

Morgan Stanley is seeking a Vice President, Lead Data & Analytics Engineer in New York to support Business Intelligence development for FID and IED Bl Reporting & Analytics. The role focuses on providing reporting and analytics solutions for Client and Sales Revenue, ensuring high data quality, and collaborating with cross-functional teams. The candidate will utilize Agile processes to automate reporting and troubleshoot data issues using SQL. This position allows for telecommuting up to two days per week.

Requirements

  • Requires a Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Data Science or a related field of study.
  • Requires five (5) years of experience in the position offered or five (5) years as a Senior Manager, Workspace Senior Consultant, or a related role.
  • Requires five (5) years of experience with Qlikview, Tableau, SAP Business Objects, Greenplum, IBM DB2, Crystal Reports, Linux, Perl, Python, PL/SQL, Sybase, and ASP .NET.
  • Requires two (2) years of experience with Power BI, Git Hub, and MS SQL Server.

Responsibilities

  • Provide reporting and analytics solutions for Client and Sales Revenue.
  • Design, develop, and implement efficient Business Intelligence Reporting solutions.
  • Perform unit testing to ensure high data quality prior to delivery of reports or dashboards.
  • Troubleshoot and analyze data issues using SQL in various databases.
  • Collaborate and communicate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Adhere to project timelines and provide alternative technical solutions when needed.
