The Front Office Derivatives Strats team focuses on product and pricing, specifically in implementing pricing algorithms and supporting data pipelines for optimal pricing decisions. They are responsible for automating structured derivative product flows and enhancing tools for sales and trading. The team seeks a candidate to contribute to the development of an advanced exotic pricing platform. This role requires strong programming skills and a good understanding of exotic pricing fundamentals.
Requirements
- Very strong programming skills in Python.
- Good knowledge of Java to support back-end infrastructure.
- A good understanding of the basics of exotic pricing in terms of input/output and structure.
- A degree in a quantitative subject such as Engineering, Applied Mathematics, Physics, or Software Engineering.
- Drive and desire to work in an intense team-oriented environment.
- Ability to communicate effectively in both written and verbal English.
Responsibilities
- Work on the development of a Java and Python platform for exotic pricing.
- Help implement systematic pricing methodology for exotic products.
- Automate the exotics product flow and auto-quoting of derivative products.
- Create tools to assist decision making and increase efficiency in trading.
- Ensure robust data pipelines and produce innovative methods in pricing automated pricing algorithms.
