The CPU RTL Methodology Engineer will play a crucial role in designing the next generation of high-performance microprocessors at Intel. This position requires a skilled individual with hands-on experience in RTL methodologies and AI tools, who can provide technical leadership in silicon development. The engineer will collaborate with various teams to enhance front-end methodologies and ensure designs meet critical performance targets. Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical, Electronics, Engineering, or related field with 12+ years of work experience, or a Master's degree with 10+ years of experience, or a PhD with 6+ years of experience.
- 6+ years of experience in silicon development in the areas of CPU or logic design.
- 5+ years of experience in technical leadership and delivering successful IP projects.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate leadership and hands-on experience in leveraging AI tools and methodologies to improve RTL coding and silicon development.
- Advance front-end methodologies and contribute to architectural discussions to enhance scalability and flexibility.
- Develop and implement strategies, tools, and techniques for RTL development and logic optimization.
- Ensure designs meet power, performance, area, and timing targets, as well as physical design integrity.
- Collaborate effectively with architecture, backend, and other design teams to deliver industry-leading products.
- Build and sustain a high-performing organization by fostering core group values and behaviors.
