Job description

The Senior Cloud Engineer / Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) role focuses on designing, building, and operating secure and scalable cloud platforms across AWS, Azure, and GCP. The position involves configuring, deploying, and maintaining virtual machines and containerized applications while utilizing Terraform for automation. The engineer will provide specialized support for high-stakes production deployments and lead incident response efforts. The role emphasizes applying SRE principles to enhance availability, performance, and operational excellence in a multi-cloud environment.

Requirements

  • 10+ years in cloud engineering, platform engineering, DevOps, or SRE roles with significant production ownership.
  • Strong hands-on experience across AWS and Azure, plus practical experience in GCP.
  • Expert-level Terraform skills including modules, state management, and CI integration.
  • Strong Kubernetes operations experience with EKS, AKS, and GKE.
  • Experience implementing SRE practices such as SLIs/SLOs, alerting strategies, and incident response.
  • Strong Linux and scripting skills in Bash and Python.

Responsibilities

  • Architect, implement, and maintain cloud infrastructure across AWS, Azure, and GCP using Terraform.
  • Design and implement cloud landing zones aligned with best practices.
  • Configure, deploy, and maintain virtual machines and scalable compute patterns.
  • Deploy and operate containerized workloads using Kubernetes.
  • Build reusable, versioned Terraform modules with standards for naming and secure defaults.
  • Define, implement, and improve SLIs/SLOs for critical services and platforms.
  • Provide specialized support for high-stakes production deployments.
  • Lead incident response efforts including triage, mitigation, and recovery.
  • Implement least-privilege access controls across AWS, Azure, and GCP.
