Job description

The Platform Yield Analyst role at Advanced Packaging Technology and Manufacturing (APTM) focuses on driving yield improvement across advanced packaging technologies. The successful candidate will prioritize team objectives, foster an inclusive work environment, and demonstrate progress towards key yield milestones. This position involves collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure successful technology development and ramp-up. The analyst will utilize statistical analysis and data insights to enhance manufacturing processes and product designs.

Requirements

  • Must possess a bachelor’s degree with 4+ years of relevant experience, OR Master's Degree with 3+ years of relevant experience, OR PhD Degree in a related discipline.
  • Experience in applying materials, tools, and process fundamentals to drive yield improvement projects.
  • Experience in applying advanced data systems, tools, and techniques for yield improvement.
  • Proficiency in developing and deploying software related to yield reporting and automated commonality analysis.

Responsibilities

  • Define goals and roadmap for yield improvement for new packaging process technology.
  • Establish relationships between critical material, tool, and process modulators on yield.
  • Provide process development direction throughout the lifecycle of a technology.
  • Perform statistical analysis and develop visualizations to drive technology yield milestones.
  • Extract insights from structured and unstructured data using statistics and machine learning.
  • Develop systems to transform complex data into yield improvement actions.
  • Ensure manufacturability over process and product design through thorough analysis.
  • Monitor and evaluate completion of tasks and projects, leading task forces on integrated problems.
  • Collaborate with upstream, downstream, and cross-functional partners for successful technology ramp-up.
