Job description
The Compiler Engineer role at Intel's Compiler Engineering team involves developing and enhancing industry-leading compilers for Intel's processor platforms. The team focuses on pushing the boundaries of compiler technology to ensure high performance and utility for both CPU and GPU architectures. The engineer will engage in application analysis, software tool development, and collaboration with hardware design teams and open source communities. Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, Informatics, or a related technical discipline.
- 4+ years of experience in C/C++, object-oriented programming, data structures, and development of production-quality compilers or similar software.
Responsibilities
- Develop features and resolve defects in compiler software.
- Identify opportunities to enhance the performance of compiler-generated code.
- Conduct functional and performance experiments, including stress tests.
- Collaborate with engineering, validation, and performance teams across Intel to ensure product quality and performance.
