Requirements

  • Knowledge of CPU Architecture.
  • Courses in VLSI/Digital Design or related.
  • Knowledge of coding languages like C/C++ and Python.

Responsibilities

  • Define, develop, and perform functional validation for CPUs.
  • Apply hardware and software tools to ensure validation coverage.
  • Review proposed design changes to assess impact on validation plans.
  • Develop CPU validation methodologies and test plans.
  • Perform silicon debug to identify root causes of CPU issues.
  • Test interactions between various CPU features using validation infrastructure.
  • Develop postsilicon validation infrastructure and test environment.
  • Publish CPU validation reports summarizing validation activities.
  • Collaborate with architecture, design, verification, and manufacturing teams.
  • Engage in all phases of the product life cycle to ensure silicon readiness.
