Job description

Candidates will engage in various phases of the product life cycle, ensuring silicon readiness through rigorous testing and validation methodologies. This position requires collaboration with multiple engineering teams to optimize designs and troubleshoot issues.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related STEM field with 2+ years of relevant experience, OR Master's degree with 1+ years of experience, OR PhD with 0 years of experience.
- Knowledge of CPU Architecture.
- Courses in VLSI/Digital Design or related.
- Knowledge of coding languages like C/C++ and Python.
Responsibilities
- Define, develop, and perform functional validation for CPUs.
- Apply hardware and software tools to ensure validation coverage and meet performance, power, and area goals.
- Review proposed design changes to assess impact on validation plans.
- Develop CPU validation methodologies and test plans, and execute validation plans.
- Perform silicon debug to identify root causes and resolve CPU issues.
- Test interactions between various CPU features using validation infrastructure.
- Develop postsilicon validation infrastructure and test environments.
- Publish CPU validation reports and communicate results to relevant teams.
- Collaborate with architecture, design, verification, board, platform, and manufacturing teams.
- Engage in all phases of the product life cycle and validate content and infrastructure.
