Job description

This position involves defining, designing, and developing complex radio frequency integrated circuits in IPs and SoCs. The role focuses on creating verification test plans for RF validation and conducting feasibility analysis for transistor level designs. The team is dedicated to ensuring that designs meet customer needs while adhering to applicable codes and standards. Candidates will work with advanced technologies in a collaborative environment to deliver cutting-edge semiconductor solutions.

Requirements

  • Candidate must possess a Master's degree with 3+ years of experience or PhD degree with 1+ years of experience in Computer/Electrical Engineering or Computer Science or related STEM discipline.
  • 2+ years of experience in design and testing integrated circuits with fundamentals in AMS/RF.
  • Knowledge of device physics and advanced IC technologies.
  • Experience working with Process Design Kits and collateral development.
  • Proficiency with Cadence Virtuoso, Siemens and/or Synopsys IC design tools.
  • Familiarity with Unix Shell, Python, Skill, Tcl, Pcell, and Ocean scripting.

Responsibilities

  • Define, design, and develop complex radio frequency integrated circuits.
  • Create verification test plans for RF validation in Process Design Kits.
  • Conduct transistor level feasibility analysis and define floorplan and layout for RF circuit architecture.
  • Create test benches and verify designs to meet desired specifications.
  • Review system specifications and design plans to ensure compliance with customer needs and regulations.
  • Design new product concepts and prototypes, and develop test procedures.
