Morgan Stanley is seeking a highly motivated professional to join its data analytics and artificial intelligence team within the Prime Brokerage and Funding Technology Department. This team operates globally and focuses on enhancing capabilities in quantitative AI by combining advanced statistical methods with GenAI technologies. The role involves developing and deploying AI solutions, collaborating with various business lines, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in the financial industry and a strong background in AI and data analytics.
Requirements
- Master’s or Ph.D. in Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, Computer Science, Engineering or related discipline.
- 9+ years of relevant experience, particularly working with AI and/or Data Analytics.
- Strong programming skills using Python and handling large datasets.
- Practical experience in statistics, data analytics or artificial intelligence.
- Ability to work collaboratively and present concepts clearly to diverse audiences.
Responsibilities
- Develop, calibrate, and deploy Agentic AI solutions using various tools and techniques.
- Design and implement advanced statistical approaches for GenAI/LLM-based applications.
- Test models comprehensively and build frameworks for model validation.
- Collaborate with users to refine models and tools for operational efficiency.
- Work with model risk management to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
- Integrate solutions accurately into the firm’s technology stack.
- Present the team’s work to management and stakeholders.
- Mentor team members.
