Job description

As a GPU Design Verification Engineer at Intel, you will play a vital role in ensuring the quality of advanced graphics solutions. Your work will involve collaborating with top engineers to verify complex graphics features that power millions of devices worldwide. This position focuses on functional verification, developing scalable test plans, and enhancing verification processes. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Electronics, Computer Engineering, or related field and at least 6+ years of experience OR a Master's degree in the mentioned fields with 4+ years of experience in silicon design development.
  • Proficiency in functional and code coverage closures.
  • Expertise in hardware simulation and validation tools, with strong technical proficiency in C/C++/Python and SystemVerilog.
  • Familiarity with IP validation tools, processes, and protocols.

Responsibilities

  • Perform functional verification of graphics logic components, including 3D graphics, media, and display.
  • Develop scalable and reusable IP verification plans and test benches to confirm graphics microarchitecture specifications.
  • Define and execute verification plans, running system simulation models to identify bugs and verify design functionality.
  • Replicate, root cause, and debug issues in pre-silicon environments while implementing corrective measures.
  • Collaborate with GPU architects, RTL developers, and physical design teams to enhance verification processes.
  • Document test plans and drive technical reviews with design and architecture teams.
  • Maintain and optimize existing functional verification infrastructure and methodologies.
  • Participate in the definition and development of verification infrastructure and related tools for functional design verification.
