Job description

The Data & Analytics Engineering Lead position at Morgan Stanley is a Director-level role focused on managing Confluence-related requirements across multiple departments. The Knowledge Access Team aims to enhance knowledge platforms for employees, ensuring they evolve with business needs and incorporate GenAI-enabled knowledge discovery. This position involves acting as a platform owner, coordinating vendor changes, and driving the adoption of AI technologies. The role emphasizes operational excellence, content governance, and the integration of advanced knowledge workflows.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, or equivalent experience.
  • 6+ years of experience in Knowledge Platform Management with a focus on engineering and scalable automation.
  • Proven experience in Backend Development and Automation using Python.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex, cross-department requirements in a high-compliance environment.
  • Strong technical understanding of Platform Governance.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the main contact for Confluence requirements across departments in North America.
  • Coordinate with Atlassian and Stack Overflow vendors to manage platform changes.
  • Drive the adoption of ROVO agents for knowledge workflows and integration with internal GenAI systems.
  • Run content hygiene programs to manage stale, duplicate, and broken links.
  • Provide L2/L3 operational support for Confluence and knowledge tools.
