The QA Engineer role at Morgan Stanley focuses on both manual and automated quality testing for financial and securities trading front-end applications. • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of technical education and work experience
• 5+ years of experience in information technology/software development with expertise in test automation
• Strong hands-on experience in Java Selenium for UI automation
• Demonstrated knowledge of financial and securities trading instruments
• Solid knowledge of QA methodologies, test planning, and product integration phases
• Ability to lead teams in a fast-paced environment with short sprint cycles
• Exposure to Atlassian tool sets such as Bitbucket, JIRA, and Confluence
• Experience in API testing using tools like Postman and Rest Assured
• Excellent communication and coordination skills

• Design, develop, and execute manual and automated test cases for web and API applications
• Ensure end-to-end quality by implementing testing strategies and best practices
• Work closely with developers and stakeholders to align testing efforts with project requirements
• Act as a bridge between onshore and offshore QA teams for coordination and knowledge sharing
• Drive and mentor the QA team, providing technical guidance and ensuring best practices are followed
• Collaborate in Agile environments, participating in sprint planning and retrospectives
• Continuously improve testing processes and implement automation where feasible
• Ensure production roll testing staffing and attend production rolls as needed
• Coordinate tool enhancement needs with the infra/tools team
• Communicate on the team's behalf to both technical and non-technical audiences
