Job description

The Graphics Software Engineer position at Intel focuses on ensuring the robustness and quality of Graphics IP offerings through validation and debugging of graphics issues. Candidates will work on integrating graphics features, analyzing cross-component functionalities, and developing tools to improve validation efficiency. This position requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills to drive issue resolution in collaboration with software and hardware teams.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field with 3+ years of relevant experience, or a Master's degree with 1+ years of relevant experience, or pursuing a PhD with 6+ months of relevant experience.
  • Experience with computer graphics hardware and software and GPUs.
  • Software development experience with C, C++, and Python programming expertise.
  • Validation and debugging experience at the ingredient or platform level in Graphics, Media, or Display Technology.
  • Experience with CI/CD and automating complex workflows.

Responsibilities

  • Perform graphics driver and application-related validation and debugging activities.
  • Integrate upcoming graphics features into end-to-end validation flows.
  • Triage and debug reported failures and drive issue resolution with software and hardware development teams.
  • Scale across end-to-end Display, Media, 3D, Compute, and power conservation components.
  • Analyze cross-component features to develop robust end-user test scenarios.
  • Develop debug tools to improve graphics validation and debugging efficiency.
  • Enable new features for content creation applications, gaming, and AI domains to enhance functionality and performance.
