Job description

The Customer Device Engineer role at Intel is pivotal in bridging advanced manufacturing capabilities with customer needs within the Manufacturing Development and Customer Engineering team. This position focuses on yield improvement, performance optimization, and exceptional customer service delivery. The successful candidate will work closely with foundry customers to ensure seamless technology integration while fostering strong relationships throughout product lifecycles. This role is part of Intel's transformation into a leading foundry service provider.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or master's degree in a STEM major
  • 4+ years of experience in the semiconductor industry
  • Experience with analytic skills including data query, cleaning, preparation, and analysis
  • Familiarity with wafer fab environments and device and yield analysis tools
  • Understanding of process impacts to devices and relevant interactions

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate cross-functional device engineering teams to deliver silicon manufacturing solutions aligned with Intel's PDK specifications.
  • Manage change processes within device engineering and ensure timely customer reporting.
  • Collaborate with technology development teams to meet milestones and support customers throughout development cycles.
  • Guide customers through early project phases and technology adoption.
  • Develop innovative solutions across multifunctional teams beyond traditional device applications.
  • Foster strong customer relationships throughout product lifecycles.
  • Leverage Intel's extensive manufacturing capabilities to drive customer success.
