The Director UI Developer will join the Investment Banking & Global Capital Markets Technology team to create innovative solutions for the Institutional Securities Group. This role focuses on software development and maintenance to meet the evolving needs of the business. The position emphasizes collaboration, technical excellence, and continuous improvement within the software engineering team. Candidates will engage in training and upskilling to enhance their technical skills.
Requirements
- Strong Web front-end developer with 4+ years of substantial HTML5/Angular experience.
- Strong knowledge of JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and Responsive designs.
- Experience with common libraries such as jQuery and Angular/Ember/React.
- Good understanding of web performance and how browsers and DOM work.
- Solid experience with unit testing of frontend components.
- Experience with automated build pipelines and testing frameworks.
- Knowledge of current trends and best practices in front-end architecture.
- Excellent analytical and communication skills.
- Ability to take initiative without requiring direct guidance.
- Experience with iterative/agile development practices.
Responsibilities
- Participate in the design, development, and testing of software applications.
- Collaborate with team members to understand requirements and deliver on software projects.
- Assist in troubleshooting and debugging software issues.
