The Automation Software Development Integration Engineer will play a crucial role in advancing manufacturing technology at Intel. This position involves critical analysis and problem-solving in the context of factory automation capabilities, particularly in semiconductor manufacturing. The engineer will collaborate with various partner organizations to develop and deploy software solutions that enhance operational efficiency. This role requires flexibility and the ability to provide support on the production floor as needed.
Requirements
- Bachelor's of Science degree with 4+ years of experience or a Master's degree with 3+ years of experience or a Ph.D. with 1+ years of experience in Computer Science, Information System or STEM related field.
- 3+ years of experience in managing software development projects or other engineering disciplines.
- Working knowledge of software engineering practices and testing methodologies.
- Experience with Windows operating systems, XML/JSON configuration files, log files, and diagnostic tools.
Responsibilities
- Conduct a technical capability gap analysis based on business drivers and product requirements.
- Manage solution development and deployment through the Software Product Life Cycle.
- Engage with partner organizations to evaluate the feasibility of requirements and determine priorities for development.
- Communicate priorities and status to stakeholders.
- Proliferate, configure, and maintain software on the production floor.
