Job description
The GPU Design Verification Engineer will join the GPU IP team and focus on planning and designing complex architectures while leading verification efforts for logic blocks and features. This role requires collaboration with architects to define verification strategies and develop scalable test environments. The engineer will also perform debugging, validate design functionality, and enhance verification methodologies. Strong communication skills and a commitment to continuous learning are essential for success in this position.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field with 3+ years of relevant experience, or a Master's degree with 2+ years of experience, or a PhD with 1+ year of experience.
- 4+ years of experience in ASIC Design and verification.
- Expert knowledge of the GPU pipeline.
- Mastery of Verilog, System Verilog, and Logic Synthesis for high-frequency, low-power designs.
- Thorough understanding of cache coherency and memory interfaces.
Responsibilities
- Plan and design complex architecture designs meeting all performance criteria.
- Lead design and verification efforts of complex logic blocks and features.
- Develop scalable and reusable IP verification plans, test benches, and architectures.
- Independently own the development of test environments and feature verification.
- Perform debugging, issue replication, root cause analysis, and corrective action in pre-silicon environments.
