The Silicon & Systems Architecture, Simulation and Prototyping team at Intel is seeking a motivated researcher with strong systems knowledge and hands-on experience with AI workloads. This innovative group focuses on system architecture innovations for high-performance computing and next-generation data center networks. The role involves prototyping and analyzing workloads, developing performance assessment tools, and influencing Intel's product roadmap. Candidates will work closely with various partners to enhance future Intel products.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering & Computer Science, Electrical & Computer Engineering, or related computing discipline with 4+ years of related experience, or a Master's degree with 2+ years of related experience.
- Experience in computer architecture and Intel platform architecture.
- Knowledge of and hands-on experience with system software such as OS/VMM memory management and scheduling.
- Experience with scripting languages such as Python, Perl, PowerShell, or shell, and programming languages such as C or C++.
- Experience with Linux installation and configuration.
- Experience in performance benchmarking.
Responsibilities
- Prototype, characterize, and analyze target workloads.
- Develop tools and methodology to assess the performance of future Intel products.
- Partner with others to identify and develop system enhancements.
- Influence Intel's next-generation product roadmap and architectural decisions.
