Intel is seeking GPU Software Development Engineers to join their media software team, focusing on developing innovative software solutions for Media and Video acceleration on Intel's graphics architecture. Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, electrical engineering, or a related STEM field with over 6+ years of relevant experience, or a Master's degree with 4+ years of relevant experience.
- Experience in cross-OS software development.
- Familiarity with GPU Media and Video acceleration technologies such as DirectX, LibVA, and various codecs.
- Proficiency in programming languages, including C++ and C.
- Understanding of GPU architectures.
Responsibilities
- Develop new cross OS software that delivers Media and Video acceleration on Intel's graphics architecture.
- Scope includes the entire Intel Media software stack, from media device drivers through runtimes and APIs.
- Work on tools, infrastructure, and technologies necessary to develop, profile, optimize, and productize Intel Media software solutions.
- Contribute to Media IP pre-Si enabling on Simulation and Emulation.
- Optimize Si performance and quality for Intel GPU platforms.
