Job description

The TD Module Development Engineer role focuses on leading scientific research to manufacture innovative device architectures. This position involves driving technology development for high volume manufacturing and future technologies, while also providing process integration and equipment solutions. The engineer will collaborate with key suppliers and perform feasibility studies to ensure device specifications are met. The role is part of Intel Foundry, which aims to deliver cutting-edge semiconductor manufacturing solutions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Physics, Electrical Engineering, or a related Scientific STEM field with 4+ years of Semiconductor Industry experience.
  • Master's degree in Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Physics, Electrical Engineering, or a related Scientific STEM field with 3+ years of Semiconductor Industry experience.
  • PhD degree in Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Physics, Electrical Engineering, or a related Scientific STEM field with 1+ years of Semiconductor Industry experience.
  • Experience in semiconductor processing and semiconductor fabrication.

Responsibilities

  • Drive technology development and enablement for high volume manufacturing and future technology.
  • Lead design and development of sophisticated manufacturing processes and repair reverse engineering.
  • Perform pathfinding activities in support of process and hardware development.
  • Recommend and implement modifications for operating equipment to improve production efficiency.
  • Partner with key equipment and materials suppliers to develop enabling elements of technology.
  • Perform process technology feasibility studies through theoretical simulations and practical engineering methods.
