The role is for a position in Intel's All Cores Engineering (ACE) team, focusing on functional verification of CPU logic to ensure design specifications are met. Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering or related field with 3+ years of relevant experience, or a Master's with 2+ years, or a PhD.
- 3+ years of experience in Design Verification and Validation methodologies with UVM, System Verilog, and industry standard EDA tools.
- 3+ years of experience with Pre-silicon verification and SoC validation.
Responsibilities
- Perform functional verification of CPU logic to ensure design meets specification requirements.
- Develop IP verification plans, test benches, and the verification environment to ensure coverage.
- Execute verification plans and define and run system simulation models to verify design and analyze power and timing.
- Replicate, root cause, and debug issues in the presilicon environment.
- Find and implement corrective measures to resolve failing tests.
- Collaborate with CPU architects, RTL developers, and physical design teams to improve verification.
- Document test plans and drive technical reviews with design and architecture teams.
- Maintain and improve existing functional verification infrastructure and methodology.
- Participate in the definition of architecture and microarchitecture features of the CPU.
