Job description

This position involves performing functional verification of graphics logic components, including 3D graphics and media, to ensure compliance with design specifications. The role requires collaboration with GPU architects and RTL developers to enhance verification processes and achieve performance goals. The successful candidate will also be responsible for developing scalable verification plans and maintaining existing verification infrastructure. This is a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of graphics microarchitecture.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in electronics, computer engineering or related engineering with 5+ years of experience, or a Master's degree with 4+ years of experience.
  • Strong programming skills in System Verilog, OVM, and UVM.
  • Hands-on verification experience working on ASIC, CPU, or GPU.
  • Experience in test plan development at the IP level with coverage closures.
  • Knowledge of coverage-driven verification testbench development and functional modeling.

Responsibilities

  • Perform functional verification of graphics logic components to ensure design meets specification requirements.
  • Define and develop scalable and reusable IP verification plans and test benches.
  • Execute verification plans and run system simulation models to verify design and analyze performance.
  • Replicate, root cause, and debug issues in the presilicon environment.
  • Collaborate with various teams to improve verification of complex architectural features.
  • Document test plans and drive technical reviews with design and architecture teams.
  • Maintain and improve existing functional verification infrastructure and methodology.
