Intel's Foundry Automation group is looking for an experienced Infrastructure Engineer for Observability. The role focuses on deploying, configuring, and managing enterprise Elastic, Logstash, and Kibana environments. The engineer will also manage layered applications and ensure their efficient and secure performance. Candidates should be proactive and adaptable in a fast-paced environment, bringing expertise in automation to enhance infrastructure efficiency.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or a related engineering discipline.
- 5+ years of experience in Observability, Monitoring, and/or manageability of infrastructure engineering.
- 2+ years' experience with Elastic, Logstash, Kafka, and Kibana.
- 2+ years' experience with a scripting language such as Powershell, vbs, c#, or Bash.
Responsibilities
- Manage the full lifecycle of Elastic, Logstash, Kibana, Kafka, and MS System Center Operations Manager.
- Implement automation scripts to configure advanced observability scenarios and streamline repetitive tasks.
- Deploy, configure, and maintain Elasticsearch clusters for scalable log storage and search capabilities.
- Design and implement Logstash pipelines for data ingestion, parsing, and transformation from multiple sources.
- Create and maintain Kibana dashboards, visualizations, and alerts for real-time operational insights.
- Ensure data quality, consistency, and availability across observability platforms.
- Develop and maintain documentation for configurations, integrations, and troubleshooting steps related to the observability stack.
