Job description
As a Pixel IP DMA Design Engineer in the Hardware Technologies group, you will play a crucial role in the design of high-performance, power-efficient system-on-chips (SoCs). You will collaborate with architecture, design, and verification teams to develop DMA engines that facilitate data movement between memory systems and the Pixel IP Engine. This position emphasizes enhancing performance while minimizing power and area. Your contributions will directly impact the delivery of functional products to millions of customers.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree with 3 years of experience in multimedia IP/SoC front-end ASIC RTL design.
- Strong collaboration skills with excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Experience working with architecture, design, and verification teams to specify, design, and debug designs.
- Previous experience designing dedicated DMA engines, particularly for machine learning applications, data storage, and image processing.
- Good understanding of arbitration, address translation, caching, and on-chip interconnects.
- Familiarity with common on-chip bus protocols such as AMBA (AXI, AHB, APB).
- Experience in front-end implementation tasks including synthesis, area and power analysis, and logic equivalence checks.
