Job description
The Senior Project Engineer will play a crucial role in promoting safety and assisting the Project Management team in planning and coordinating projects. This position focuses on ensuring that work is completed on time and within budget while adhering to quality standards. The engineer will also be involved in various aspects of project administration, including document control and trade performance tracking. This role requires strong technical skills and the ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is required.
- LEED GA certification is preferred.
- OSHA 10 certification is required; OSHA 30 certification is preferred.
- Advanced knowledge of document control and information flow is necessary.
- Working knowledge of VDC coordination tools such as Revit and Navisworks is required.
Responsibilities
- Promote and adhere to safety best practices on the jobsite.
- Assist the Project Manager in planning, coordination, and administration of assigned projects.
- Review field inspection reports and communicate deficiencies to supervisors.
- Track weekly trade performance against project schedules and provide updates.
- Facilitate the project's VDC Coordination efforts and maintain project progress photographs.
