Job description

The Senior Project Engineer will play a crucial role in promoting safety and assisting the Project Management team in planning and coordinating projects. This position focuses on ensuring that work is completed on time and within budget while adhering to quality standards. The engineer will engage in various tasks including document control, project coordination, and sustainability initiatives. This role requires strong technical skills and the ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • LEED GA preferred
  • OSHA 10 certification required
  • OSHA 30 preferred
  • Advanced knowledge of document control and information flow

Responsibilities

  • Promote and adhere to safety best practices on the jobsite
  • Assist the Project Manager in planning, coordination, and administration of assigned projects
  • Review field inspection reports and communicate deficiencies to supervisors
  • Track weekly trade performance against project schedule
  • Facilitate the project's VDC Coordination efforts
  • Maintain project progress photographs and submit them according to project requirements
  • Perform project quality control and on-site coordination with trades
