Job description
As an Automation Engineer at Elanco, you will be part of the Manufacturing Engineering team, focusing on supporting manufacturing process control systems. Your role will involve troubleshooting automation systems and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives. Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or equivalent experience
- Relevant experience in an engineering or manufacturing environment
- Basic automation/programming knowledge and strong problem-solving skills
Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day troubleshooting and technical support for manufacturing automation and control systems
- Support design, implementation, and testing of automation solutions for small to medium projects
- Execute and document changes within change control and assist with computer system validation activities
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Quality, Engineering, Maintenance, and Operations to resolve issues and drive improvements
- Assist with automation project execution, including programming, testing, and documentation
