Job description
The Data Fabric Engineer (Palantir) at KLA is responsible for designing, developing, and managing end-to-end solutions on the Palantir Foundry platform. This role focuses on delivering scalable data pipelines and applications that support analytics and operational decision-making. The engineer will work independently on medium-complexity deliverables while collaborating with cross-functional teams. The position is part of the Information Technology group, which aims to enhance business growth and productivity through innovative technology solutions.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or a related field.
- Minimum six years of experience in data engineering, analytics engineering, or software engineering.
- Hands-on experience with Palantir Foundry, including data ingestion and transformation pipelines.
- Strong proficiency in Python and SQL.
- Experience working with enterprise-scale data platforms and complex data models.
- Solid understanding of data governance, security, and access control concepts.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain end-to-end data pipelines within Palantir Foundry.
- Develop and manage Foundry datasets, transforms, and pipelines using Python and SQL.
- Build and maintain Foundry Ontologies, modeling business entities, relationships, and workflows.
- Develop Foundry applications and analytical workflows to support business and operational use cases.
- Support and operate Palantir Foundry environments, monitoring pipeline health and data quality.
- Implement and maintain data access controls, permissions, and governance rules.
- Integrate Palantir Foundry with enterprise data sources such as SAP and Snowflake.
- Partner with business stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable Foundry solutions.
- Create and maintain technical documentation and operational runbooks.
