The Manufacturing Reliability & HVAC Engineer at Elanco will provide technical leadership for the site maintenance program, ensuring equipment reliability and supporting production objectives. This role involves collaboration with Maintenance, Operations, Engineering, Quality, and HVAC teams to drive reliability improvements and maintenance excellence. The engineer will focus on developing preventive and predictive maintenance strategies while maintaining the integrity of CMMS data. This position is essential for enhancing equipment performance and compliance within a diverse and inclusive work environment.

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, preferably in Mechanical Engineering.
• Experience in maintenance, reliability engineering, or manufacturing environments with responsibility for equipment reliability and maintenance programs.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with working knowledge of CMMS systems.
• Familiarity with preventive and predictive maintenance techniques and cross-functional collaboration.

• Own and drive the technical aspects of the maintenance and reliability program.
• Partner cross-functionally with Operations, Maintenance, Engineering, Quality, and HVAC teams.
• Lead and perform reliability analyses including Root Cause Failure Analysis (RCFA), Failure Mode Effects Analysis (FMEA), and Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM).
• Develop and implement preventive and predictive maintenance strategies to reduce equipment failures.
• Maintain and ensure integrity of CMMS data, including job plans and maintenance procedures.
• Provide oversight of mechanical integrity programs including pipe testing and inspections.
• Support HVAC systems reliability and compliance in partnership with site HVAC teams.
• Drive continuous improvement by monitoring equipment performance and implementing corrective engineering solutions.
• Collaborate with planning and maintenance teams to define job scope and maintenance strategies.
• Stay current with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and emerging technologies.
